*grumble grumble*

i'm an idiot.
because of that i'm stuck driving around an hour round trip for dumb 2 hour stints for not a lot of money an hour.

today i saw him again (he was training me for another class -unpaid might i add) and... he wasn't wearing a blue shirt, i noticed he had a weird little goatpatchy thing going on with his little  blonde beard.. and... HIS EYES WERE NOT THAT DEEP DEEP SHADE OF BOTTOMLESS BLUE!

during the interview i remember being plagued with these questions: how could his eyes be so blue?  why are they so blue?  WHERE DO I LOOK - I don't want to stare at his eyes.

and today, they were like a gray.. not.. very blue.  he didn't look aryan.
and i regret (enamoredly) deciding to work there.

that's all.

freaking blue eyes that were only blue because of that brilliant blue shirt.

aGH!

Why I like to watch Kim Sun Ah Act

- her roles are always quirky
- she’s entertaining
- despite her eccentric characters and their loudmouthed, strong willed, weirdo ways, she always gets the BEST guy
- she can be so vulnerable on-screen, it’s amazing.
- although i disagree, people think this woman is attractive
- she has a majestic air about her in the way she carries herself
- her eyes and her round face reminds me of my mom
… i get annoyed at her screeching and her babytalk though. but every actor has his/her faults so yeah

-maybe in a little way i see myself in every character she plays…. secretly wishfully living vicariously.  .. yeh.

hello my teacher

so finished watching a drama this semester called "hello my teacher."
the premise is understandably disturbing as it unfolds a plot about a student-teacher relationship.

while trying to shrug off that part (and also reminding myself that all the high school 'students' are around 6' something and look like college grads), I couldn't help but be drawn to the wonderful way this drama portrayed teaching.

i could relate with the first day of school and Na bori's hopes of trying to win over the students and also figuring out what to do about teacher-student dynamics since she's so young.

i also loved the conversations about helping the students or what to do as a teacher and the semi-helplessness and then the acceptance of making do with the situation.

i also remembered what it's like to be a student and the issues concerning that (love, family, poverty, grades) and how in high school those WERe the life-death situations. hence a lot of tears were shed while watching this drama.


it's very similar to Gokusen with a little random smaller plot within the episode, and i liked that. i loved just the.. old school love and care that the class displayed and the solidarity.

so unrealistic; random stray storylines.. but yeah i liked it. <3





and you can write off irrational behavior to the fact that tae-in is still a high school student.
